Generations are loosely defined, not just in terms of biology but also in terms of history and technology. The Gen Z cohort refers to those born between 1995-2010 (plus/minus a few years), and we preach tolerance, inclusivity, equality, justice, and happiness.

Elizabeth is a junior at Staten Island Technical High School passionate about the intersection of advocacy, art, and social entrepreneurship. Above all, she is an avid writer whose work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and The Heritage Review among other literary journals and organizations. As a spoken word artist, she has also had the honor to be a 2020-2021 NYC Youth Poet Laureate Ambassador/Finalist. She has also performed at the Apollo as a finalist in Climate Speaks, a spoken-word youth arts program about the climate crisis. Elizabeth strives to use her passions and drive to better the lives of others. In fact, she co-founded the nonprofit Bridge to Literacy to foster a love of language in kids from underserved communities around the world to give kids access to greater opportunities. When she isn’t running her nonprofit or writing, she can be found biking, running, or baking vegan pastries.
